Sample concerts, Bach, Counterpoint and Takemitsu

These two programmes explores space and movement in contemporary Japanese music juxtaposed with that of the counterpoint in Bach’s keyboards works, with reference to Stravinsky’s connection to both composers. Recitals includes:

Sample concert, Dances from the Street

This programme includes dance music inspired by folk and ethnic music traditions around Europe from the East to West, including Bartók, Chopin and Ravel. Recital includes:

  • Chopin – Mazurkas (Suite of 5),

  • Debussy – Mazurka

  • Bartók – Dance Suite

  • Stravinsky – Piano Rag

  • Stravinsky –  Tango

  • Ravel – Le Tombeau de Couperin,


Other Programmes

Reiko has a large repertoire, and can tailor performances as necessary from a wide choice of composers and styles.

A rare treat for audiences, this ensemble sees Reiko in concert with the brilliant principal Wind Principals of the London Orchestras. Sample repertoire includes:
